DroneDeploy Outage History

DroneDeploy experienced a major outage where all integrations with third-party services including Procore, Esri products, and Autodesk were not working as expected. The issue affected some users for approximately 6 hours and 11 minutes between 2:51AM and 9:02AM Pacific Time. Engineering corrected the problem and normal service was restored.

DroneDeploy experienced an issue where elevation layers failed to load on cut/fill maps, preventing some users from accessing location data, annotations, exports, and reports. The incident lasted 37 minutes and was resolved after engineering identified and implemented a fix. All affected functionality has been restored with no further impact expected.

DroneDeploy experienced a major service incident where users encountered "Page cannot be embedded" errors when attempting to embed DroneDeploy projects into Procore. The issue affected some users for approximately 5.5 hours between 11:00AM PT and 4:30PM PT on April 22nd, 2026. The problem was identified and resolved by the engineering team, with embedding functionality restored.

DroneDeploy's Smart Uploader experienced failures when users attempted to upload aerial data, displaying the error "We are unable to detect data sets from the given files." The issue affected some users for approximately 6 days between April 14-20, 2026, preventing successful data uploads via the desktop application. Engineering resolved the problem by rolling back the problematic change, and users who experienced failures during this period were advised to retry their uploads.

DroneDeploy's web app experienced a login issue where users attempting to sign in via Procore or Autodesk integrations encountered blank white screens instead of successful authentication. The incident affected third-party login methods while direct username/password login remained functional as a workaround. Engineering resolved the underlying issue after 4 hours, restoring normal login functionality for all authentication methods.

DroneDeploy Support experienced a 6.4-hour outage where they could not receive inbound emails due to a third-party ticketing system provider failure. The incident affected customer support communications, but alternative contact methods remained available including live chat for Individual+ license customers and phone support for Enterprise customers. The issue was fully resolved with emails backfilling into the support inbox.
