Loom experienced a 16.8-hour service disruption caused by an infrastructure outage from their public cloud provider, affecting recording, viewing, authentication, and Loom AI features with elevated error rates and degraded performance. The underlying infrastructure issue was mitigated and services began recovering, followed by a period of clearing backlogged events that caused continued degradation of notifications, automation triggers, and data syncs. All services were fully restored and returned to normal operation.
