Some customers are experiencing delays when tax is calculated

Our engineers are looking into an issue with our tax service in the US and Canada for both Paddle Billing and Classic which is caused by a degraded performance of a third party supplier.

The impact is a delay in the calculation of taxes in the checkout, via API as well as when creating invoices. Buyer who are trying to view their transaction on paddle.net may experience an error message.

Please accept our apologies for the disruption to our service. We will update the status page again once the underlying issue with our third party supplier has been resolved.

We are still looking into the issue with our tax service in the US and Canada.
In our previous update we mentioned this was also impacting the checkout as well as Paddle Classic, which we have now identified is not the case.

The impact is an error in calculating taxes for the US and Canada when previewing a price in Paddle Billing. Buyers who are trying to view their transaction on paddle.net will see 0% tax until this is resolved.
