Some customers are experiencing issues with Alipay

Our engineers are currently investigating an issue which is impacting the checkout experience for buyers choosing Alipay for Paddle Billing and Classic.

This is causing the Alipay popup window to not automatically close when a purchase is completed. Additionally, the checkout.completed PaddleJS event is not being fired for Alipay. Please rest assured, that the payment processing itself is not impacted.

We will update the status of the service once our engineers have found the cause and restored our usual service.

Our engineers have identified the issue impacting the checkout experience for buyers using Alipay with both Paddle Billing and Classic.

We are actively working to resolve the root cause and restore normal service. We'll update you as soon as more information is available.
