RingCentral customers in several Ontario cities including Milton, Kitchener, Oakville, Hamilton, Burlington, Stoney Creek, Georgetown and London experienced failed inbound and outbound calls and faxes for 6.4 hours due to an underlying carrier issue. The incident initially affected only outbound services but later expanded to include inbound calling and faxing as well. The issue was resolved after RingCentral's operations team worked with the carrier to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
The underlying carrier continues to troubleshoot the issue and will provide updates as they become available. If you are experiencing this issue, please reach out to customer care. The next update will be provided in 4 hours or when a significant change in status occurs.
Initially, outbound calling and faxing were impacted, but the underlying carrier has now confirmed that inbound calling and faxing are also affected.
