Outage Details

There’s a performance degradation affecting our Commerce Cloud Business Manager and customer storefront functionality. Some users can access the service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

The Technology team investigated further and has determined that there is an issue with a third-party service provider. The third-party vendor has been engaged to assist in the investigation.
Initial reports indicate positive outcomes, however, out of an abundance of caution, the team is continuing to monitor performance levels.
We will continue to work with the vendor to confirm restoration of services.
We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes, or sooner if additional information becomes available.

Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.

At 05:57 UTC, on May 31, 2023, the Salesforce Technology team became aware of a performance degradation impacting multiple customers.
After an initial error log review analysis, the team believes potential issues at the network tier to be the likely cause. However, we are working to secure our customers with more conclusive information. In parallel, the Technology team continues to explore alternative paths to resolve the issue

We investigated further and found the performance degradation impacting Business Manager and customer storefront functionality and not B2B2C as stated previously. We apologize for any inconvenience.
