Service Disruption

The fix has been deployed to FRA88. Initial validations indicate positive results. The Salesforce Technology team will continue to validate that the issue is resolved on FRA88 and monitor the environment to ensure stability before deploying it to FRA85.

At 00:50 UTC on July 18, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team noted a service disruption affecting customers on several instances. Customers on these instances may experience Fileforce (FFX) failures, as file configuration is not being updated properly. File access is also impacted, leading to failed file reads. The issue appears to be due to a recent deployment. A fix was identified and is currently being deployed. This is expected to take 90 minutes.

We’ll provide an update in 2 hours or sooner if additional information becomes available.

Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.
