We have identified an issue present when attempting to create Stamps.com labels within the sandbox/test environment. Most attempts to produce test labels via the Stamps Sandbox account are receiving the following error response: "Insufficient account balance. Account exception Exception with code 0x00560101; module 86, category 1, item 1" We have confirmed that this response is due to an underlying issue present with the Stamps.com test environment which the ShipEngine sandbox connects to. Stamps is aware of the issue and is investigating a fix.
