Resolved Charts flatlining because of bad, cached results

We introduced a bug in production at 4:00pm PST that caused charts to show no data. We reverted the change at 5:00pm. Charts computed between 4:00pm and 5:00pm might still be showing cached results with no data; a manual refresh is required to recompute the chart. All customers are potentially affected. Our data processing systems are delayed. This incident started at 2021-12-20 11:46pm UTC. Current status: a) Our ingestion systems are working as expected and no data is lost. Our processing systems are not processing newly ingested data. b) All of our customers are impacted. c) Impacted customers will see delayed metrics. We have identified the issue and trying to fix it now.

Resolved Amplitude Website Outage

Amplitude's website experienced an outage for all users from ~7:38am PT to ~7:55am PT due to an upstream AWS outage. The issue appears to be resolved, and we are continuing to monitor the situation

Resolved Partial/Complete Event Collection Outage

Our event servers are partially down and we are rejecting all/most/some of the events being sent to Amplitude. The issue started around 7:25 PDT/PST on Dec 15 2021. A all our customers are impacted. We are investigating the issue and will post an update in an hour or earlier if we identify the issue. We recommend retrying failed events until you receive a 200 response from Amplitude. Amplitude SDKs already take care of the retry logic.

From 4:17 AM PDT on 2021-12-10, all the charts do not return the real-time data up to 24 hours ago. This affects all of our customers and will not cause any data loss. We have identified the root cause and working on a resolution. There is no action necessary from our customers.

You can subscribe for updates on the official status page or create an account in IsDown. We will send you an email, Slack, or Discord in real-time when Amplitude has issues.

What happens when I create an account?
You'll have access to a 14-day trial in our Pro plan. You can cancel or delete your account anytime. After 14 days, you'll need to subscribe to continue to use the service.
How can I pay for a subscription?
You can go to the Billing section in your account, and choose one of the plan. We've monthly and yearly options. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Play. We use Stripe for payments.
Can I get a refund?
We'll refund your subscription if you cancel it until ten days after the subscription has started. No questions asked.
You are missing one of the services I use. Can you add it?
Sure thing! Just contact us, and we'll add it ASAP. Some services are more straightforward to add than others, but we're going to work to find the best solution.
