REST API Level 2/3 transactions DMISSINGFIELD errors for gross_net_indicator starting August 5, 2024

The issue affecting the REST API Level 2/3 transaction processing service has now been fully resolved. Cybersource is conducting an internal review of the events to mitigate future occurrences.

Cybersource is aware of an issue that is currently affecting REST API Level 2/3 transaction processing. Some REST API Level 2/3 transactions are failing with DMISSINGFIELD bill_rmsg=The following offer-level field data is either invalid or missing: offer0.gross_net_indicator. This happens for merchants sending in the REST API field orderInformation.lineItems[].amountIncludesTax which is mapped to the gross_net_indicator field. Field appears to be getting dropped during transform.

We are investigating the cause and working urgently to resolve the issue.

Impact: Merchants using REST API sending in a request for Level 2/3 and field: orderInformation.lineItems[].amountIncludesTax will not be able to complete a capture.
