The incident was caused by server cluster and networking issues, though inbound mail flow remained unaffected throughout the outage. The service was fully restored to normal operational capacity after network teams completed troubleshooting and server restoration work.

OpenText's Core EDR/MDR service experienced degradation for approximately 102 hours, affecting devices running macOS agent version 2.1.7 with incomplete or missing event log ingestion and reduced visibility in the portal. While the agents continued processing data normally, event logs did not appear as expected in the management interface. The engineering team identified the root cause and fully restored service functionality.

OpenText's Zix Encryption Services experienced a failure in the notification system where secure email notifications (invitations, password resets, and delivery confirmations) were not being generated when users sent secure emails through the EMP/DeliverySlip web portal.
