Okta became aware of IdP-initiated login (login via Okta Dashboard) in Microsoft O365 app issue affecting customers in all cells. During this time customers may receive Http 404 errors upon IdP-initiated logins. While Okta works to resolve this, customers are encouraged to leverage SP-initiated login (login via Microsoft Online: https://www.office.com) which will function as expected. We are investigating the incident and taking corrective actions.

At 5:59 AM PST on January 23, 2022, Okta became aware of network connectivity issues affecting customers on US-Cell 5 of the Okta Workforce Identity Cloud environment. During this time customers may receive errors upon logging in, experience slow load times, and some functionality within the service may not be available or running at optimal performance. At 6:30 AM PST, our monitoring shows improvements in network connectivity. We are continuing to monitor the incident and take corrective actions. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes, or sooner if additional information becomes available.

At 12:11 PM PST on December 21, 2022 PST, the Advance Server Access team became aware of an issue affecting customers of the Okta Worfkorce Identity Cloud environment. During this time customers may experience increase in error rate of error http 5xx. The Advance Server Access team is investigating and taking action to restore the services. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes, or sooner if additional information becomes available.

Outage with Okta’s internal Salesforce Service Cloud
Please note that Okta monitoring detected an outage with Okta’s internal Salesforce Service Cloud application at 11:02 AM PST. Subsequently, AWS has reported a network zone outage at 12:22 PM PST in US-EAST-2 Region. This is impacting the following services for customers: All access to support.okta.com including trust.okta.com and status.okta.com for submitting customer support tickets are currently unavailable. This is impacting authentication and availability of Okta Services on US Cell 10. Clients on Amazon Global Accelerator (AGA) are not experiencing this issue at this time As a remediation for the US Cell 10 issue, Okta is currently investigating the feasibility of adding Global Accelerator to customer endpoints. We will provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner.
