UserTesting experienced a major incident with their Chrome extensions that prevented some participants from starting tests, lasting approximately 52 hours. The issue affected the Chrome Recorder Extension and impacted both the Classic and New Test experiences. The incident was resolved by releasing fixes for both Chrome extensions, with users advised to update to the latest version of Chrome.

The UserTesting platform experienced an outage that prevented access to key components including the Dashboard, Study Results, Login Portal, and Insights Summary for 1.2 hours. Users encountered 500 errors when attempting to load the platform. The issue was resolved after the team implemented a fix and monitored the results.

UserTesting experienced an issue where successful tasks were not being properly detected in iOS Interaction Tests when Navigation Tasks used "contains" as success criteria, affecting Study Results for over 9 days. The engineering team resolved the problem by releasing an updated iOS app version that required participants to update to the latest version before taking new tests. The incident was fully resolved on March 2nd after monitoring confirmed the fix was working properly.
