April 2026: Discount service degradation causing discount application failures
Paddle's discount service experienced degradation starting at 13:15 UTC, causing customers to encounter timeouts when attempting to add discounts at checkout, which prevented discount application but allowed transactions to complete normally. The issue affected all Paddle environments including production and sandbox systems for both Classic and Billing platforms, as well as the Checkout component. The incident was resolved after 11 minutes of service disruption.
